• Do I have to upgrade to Premium in order to have the hours and location displayed on the right side box?

I created a page for forms and it has linked to the form box on the right, could I do something similar for the hours and location, or do I need to upgrade?

I know that was redundant question.

    Another question:

Is it possible to change the background (adding image or color) on individual pages without effecting other pages?

No, that’s not what the premium does. One of the additional features in the premium version is the added functionality of a short-code for office hours.

It lets you drop the short code “[office hours]” in a post, page or text widget. Using the short code creates a table for your office hours, and then allows you to edit your hours from within the customizer.

So you could put one in your footer, another on your contact page, and another on your about page, or wherever.

Then, when you changed the office hours in your customizer, it would change the hours on all of those pages at the same time. You would also have a nice office hours display without having to know how to make a table using HTML.

Oh sorry. The short code is just “[hours]” not office hours. That’s with the brackets, but without the quotes.

Sorry it took me so long to respond to your reply. Just to be clear, if I use the short code [hours} to add it, but I would have to do it for every page?

Is the upgrade to Premium a one time fee? I know I can find this answer somewhere else.

The purchase of Chiro Pro Premium is a one-time fee.

But you still cannot use the short code on the front page columns. Those are set up to accept text only, not short codes.

Mose people write in something like “We’re open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm” or they something like this “Click here to learn more about our hours and location” and then they link to another page, like a contact page.

You could, however, drag a text widget into one of the footer widget areas in the Dashboard –> Appearance –> Widgets and put [hours] in that text widget. Then you’d have an hours table in your footer, and be able to control the hours from the customizer.

Then you could go to your contact page and put [hours] somewhere on there, and the table would show there as well.
