upgrade to 4.5 shifts site

  • After I upgraded wordpress to version 4.5, pages shifted down and no longer aligns to the top of the web browser. This is a big gap where the screen begins and the website. I have to revert back to 4.4.2. to keep it from looking strange. Any takers?

    You appear to be using Visual Composer. Make sure you install the update for it before updating to WordPress 4.5.

    Hi Guys,

    I upgraded my wordpress website to version 4.5, but i can’t use the backend editor (visual composer) in portfolio’s and pages anymore.
    So i can’t add for example a padding space, content box etc…

    Can someone please help me with that?

    But the answer is the same: Upgrade your copy of Visual Composer to the latest version.

    sorry @samuelwood, this is the first time i am on this forum.
    I thought always that the wpbakery (visual composer) was free instead of paying 34USD…

    Well, no, it’s not free. Perhaps you got it with your theme, in which case, contact the place you got your theme for support from there.
