Upgrade to 4.8 problems

Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

I also have with the updating to 4.8 version. Translate problem. I’m Hungarian in the basket some expression have changed to english. I wachted it in the Woocommerc.hu-HU.po and mo, and everything is ok, this expressions are translated. I tried to deactivate all other plugins, but nothing happend.
Can you help me?

I have deactivated all plugins and tried twenty seventeen theme and have the same problem. I can display the page but when I edit the page the edit window is empty. Weird.
As well it will not save my header image.

Maybe I should do my install of 4.8 over. I missed a step as I reviewed the extended install docs. I didn’t deactivate my plugins before doing the install.

I am running this in Mamp local server. But my other two sites on it work ok.

The displayed pages shows ? marks so I need to edit the text to see what the ? are about.

I fixed the edit page text problem. I had db.php in wp-content, it was a solution I had with running the old version in mamp.

But I still can’t save my header logo.

I am satisfied with my upgrade to 4.8 Except I can’t save the Header Image. I am running mamp for this upgrade test before going live. I am using Education Child theme with Genesis framework.I just added another image and it saved. Now I hide the image and select the default image and it views on the screen but won’t save.

This is most frustrating as it the last known bug of the upgrade but is a show stopper.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated

Since that is a commercial theme, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best: https://my.studiopress.com/

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.

I can’t find a support contact just faqs or purchase option for the new Pro version which is a big change not really an upgrade.

You’ll need to log in there using the account you created when you purchased Genesis.

I’m not a representative of StudioPress, nor do I own any of their themes, so I don’t know what the steps are after that. I have been told that support contacts are behind that login gate.

I am not the original purchaser. This a club site and I am volunteering to try and take over the support. I will have to see if we can contact the original designer who donated the site.

I just re install WordPress 4.8 from 3.??. I site runs well. I am using mamp localhost. But when I try to login it doesn’t login. It doesn’t generate any errors on login unless I put an invalid entry. But loops back clears the password and sits waiting for a password again. I got in once after re-inputting many times. I am at a loss what to try.
