Upgrade to 4.1.1 Error

    First time I’ve had issues

    First Attempt would not complete and locked site in ‘Maintanence Mode” – Deactivaed plugin on backend of server to get back into wpadmin. Reactivated and tried update again.

    Second attempt produced this error message: Update failed: Download failed. cURL error 18: end of response with 1851204 bytes missing

    Thanks for reaching out & I apologize for the trouble! The error that you have shared is not specific to the WP Mail SMTP plugin. The error indicates that you’re experiencing an issue related to the cURL library installed on your server.

    Please get in touch with your web hosting support with that error log, and they should be able to assist you further.
