    I updated via the plugin page which caused a WSoD. Had to rename PressForward Directory to recover.

    Running WordPress 4.6.1

    Issue confirmed with older versions of php (pre-5.5). You should probably update your PHP version, but we do support 5.4. A patch is coming shortly.

    After seeing the “PHP Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context” message, I tried to fix the errors but there are way too many and code seems really hard to maitain (such as /pressforward/Libraries/FiveFiltersReadability/Readability.php on line 1121 or line 1135) .

    Hey, this is occurs only with php 5.4 installs or lower. We’ve just released a patch to resolve it, but we highly recommend you update the version of PHP on your server.
