I am thinking about just restoring the old files from my hosts servers…since I upgraded to 3.6.1 can I just restore all files and it will be OK or do I need to reinstall the original WP version first?

Updating WP should not change your theme’s appearance unless you’ve updated the theme too?

Had you made changes to theme files (i.e. under Appearance > Editor)?

If you have a back-up, yes, you should be able to restore, but you should not run an outdated version of WP – as that’s a security risk.

Yes, I updated all plug-ins and my theme. I had it totally customized for my e-commerce site.

https://www.goofiegolfer.com you can see how it is now and hopefully will have it all fixed by tonight.

Can I just load all the WP files through my File Manager pre update?

    Yes, but.

Your images aren;t showing because they’re https.

As soon as I tell my browser that yes, https is okay, it loads fine.

Yeah…still my theme is totally messed up and I restored from a pre update date. My site was green, the drop down menue bar was centered, my slider/promotion was a box in the middle of the page which is now missing, my header had all kinds of stuff, so did my footer… not sure what to do now

I had the site built then took it over due to lack of response time from the 1st designer…
