Upgrade To 2.8.4 Screws Up Page Formatting

There don’t appear to be any paragraph tags in single posts or pages on either site. Either they weren’t added as part of the post/page creation or the themes aren’t using the_content().

I have a similar issue, but my upgrade has added weird characters like this: “? talked with Lisa for the AIGA KC blog’s weekly interview series.? AIGA KC has also? interviewed? Michael Bierut”

Also- I am unable to upload images. I have gone through all of the recommended steps from wordpress, even had GoDaddy, my host, delete the database and refresh, deactivated all widgets, changed themes…nothing works!

Any ideas??

It seems that the visual editor was affected, which means there might be something wrong with Tiny MCE (because the visual editor won’t add the tags). Copy that I put <p> tags around seems to be fine.

@poodyglitz: You might have an incompatible plugin causing problems. Try deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
