    Hi all

I am a wp2.6 user and willing to upgrade to 2.6.2, I’ve gone through the readme file and there’s some question about it.

it says “Delete your old WP files, saving ones you’ve modified.” does that mean I need to backup every thing include the files in “wp-content”?

or if there’s anyone who can tell me what are the files needs to be replace.

    thanks

Download/backup wp-content folder and do not delete wp-config.php and do not delete .htaccss, everything else you can delete. wp-content folder contains your media files, themes, and plugins (which might need to be updated) are in there. Also, disable plugins and BACKUP DATABASE before upgrading. Btw, Manage-Export-All and save the XML file to your computer just for extra measure of backing up posts, comments, categories, etc.
