• Have had to roll back the 2.5 update to 2.4.1 as all address fields were removed from the checkout page and there were no options to select which fields to show on the Checkout Options in the back end.

As my site autoupdates plugins, this effectively broke the shop during a clients service.

Would also like the option to not have to ask customers to register – so all checkout as a guest, which is the standard in 2.4.1 so should be available and be the default on upgrade.

  • Hey, I’m having a similar issue as I cant seem to find a manual download for the extension plug ins I’m using. How did you roll back to the 2.4.1 version?

The update seems to have overwritten the store timing, delivery cut off times for me. Were you able to find a way to disable the autoupdates or are we stuck with that?

    Hi,

to roll back use, for example, the plugin WP Rollback

    Hey @petercarlill & @baijiuyeg ,

The address fields are already there but will only appear for delivery. Also, we have updated the checkout page for better user flow so that they can save their info and on the next order, everything will be there.

Also, it adds extra level of validation for the users who are using the delivery fee as it adds the zip code field on the checkout page so no-one can bypass by entering a fake zip while adding to cart.

If you guys have any suggestions then please share.

    Regards,
    Nirmal

I’m sorry, I love the plugin but this update seems to be a complete nightmare with huge errors.

Please see this development site (had to rollback the live site as I was unable to function with the new plugin)

    https://catspjs.co.uk/order-online/

As you’ll see at checkout there are no address fields showing, even if you pick delivery – use postcode LS6 1AA

It is also not respecting the minimum order (which is set at £15), and no delivery cost is being added to the order (set at £2 using the delivery fee extension).

    Hello @petercarlill ,

Please use the latest version of RestroPress and let us know if that solves your issues or not.
