This is a little weird. Autocomplete worked on all pages before the upgrade, but after the 2.3 upgrade it stopped producing autocomplete suggestions on the homepage. Works on all other pages.

Any ideas what may be causing this?

Caught me as I was out the door.

Unless I’m mistaken somehow, it’s going to be related to our removal of 99% of jQuery usage in our default templates, however, we had to pivot with some attempted code and we missed making the same change in both the autocomplete and instantsearch templates. It got addressed in instantsearch, not autocomplete.

You can see the changes needing made at the following link:

    https://github.com/WebDevStudios/wp-search-with-algolia/pull/259/files

    specifically line 75 and 192.

Sounds like you’re still making use of the default template, and you should be able to update the plugin’s copy to match this PR, as needed. We won’t be changing how we fix this, so it will still match.

Awesome. we’re hoping to get this pushed out to everyone early next week.
