upgrade problems

I’ve been trying to upgrade/update wordpress on my blog for a few days. Godaddy says I have 3.0.2, and when I go to auto-install 3.0.3 it doesn’t work, so I manually uploaded 3.0.3 into my wp-includes folder, unarchived all the files, and it still says I need to upgrade to 3.0.3 in wordpress. I also installed 3.1 beta in the same folder and unarchived all the files, but I do not think it’s working. Any advice???!
