Upgrade of WordPress to 4.3.1
-
I was hoping that somebody may be able to clarify something for me please?
My hosting company updates my site automatically and it seems that there may have been an upgrade to WordPress just recently.
My site having issues seems to have coincided with this and as a result, I was confronted with only my home page loading and all other pages providing me with a header and the menu but the rest of the page or post was blank/white – yet all of my content still remained on my Dashboard.
My hosting company advised that it appeared as though an update caused a conflict with the plugin or theme not yet being compatible with the major update. They rolled back the update and the content loaded albeiet it was a little outdated.
I am using the Daily Dish theme that I purchased from StudioPress, and it did say that it was quite a newly released theme. How do I identify if this is the issue and is this something that I should raise with the author/developer of the theme? I am not sure how this works.
My hosting company has advised that they will be running an update again in a week or two so I am now a little nervous as to whether it will occur again.
Any assistance to this inquiry would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
