upgrade / migration deleted all my forms and data

Looks as though a number of people could be hit very hard by the most recent (1 Aug 2013) update. We tried updating and noticed the migrate button, which only serves to wipe the tables in the database and leave a default blank configuration. It’s a good thing we were able to restore our client sites from backup. There is something clearly broken in this release and it needs fixing ASAP before more people lose their data.

Unfortunately, you will need to contact your host for database backups if you clicked on the migration button and didn’t export your VFB data beforehand (which I recommend).

The migration is only meant to be performed one time, when upgrading from the free to the pro. It’s completely voluntary which is why there is a Dismiss button next to the Mirgrate Forms button. The migration is not required as you stated.

I’m sorry the language wasn’t clear ?? I’ve since updated it to be more descriptive of what will happen.

Your pro support on your website is slow. You answer this quickly. Additionally this upgrade added little bullets next to all of my form entries. and I have your form designer plugin which does not address those at all. I did noting to the theme. It is simply not looking good after this update and it has created 8 hours + of work for me. You did mention a back up… my bad there.

BTW you never had a migrate button on any of your other updates… for the pro version.
