Upgrade messed up homepage

    Hi, I please need help.. I upgraded to 3.1 just now and the homepage of my site is messed up. It is pointing to the latest post. The homepage was custom developed and had it’s own look and feel (custom designed) and now it is gone..
    Can anyone please help

  • Post the code that was in your custom home page in https://wordpress.pastebin.com/ and post the URL generated here.

    Did you have a home.php file or was the home page set up via Settings > Reading – Static Page as home page?

    i pasted the url, there are a few files that worked the homepage.. header.php, hompeage.php and footer.php.

    when you say settings > reading…

    it might be in there

    i looked in there and it is selected on a
    static page and the dropdowns are on frontpage -> home and Posts Page -> Home

    all the other choices are my pages that the inside pages consist of. They are functioning fine

    i appreciate your responses and help

    I got it to work, when you mentioned the reading-> Static page … I played around with the dropdowns and set it to the ones that where needed to make it work, they were both set on home, once again thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction
