When clicking on configure, I am presented with a prompt to upgrade to premium, so out of curiosity I clicked it, and it took me to:

    https://tomjn.com/wp-admin/admin.php?billing_cycle=annual&page=error-log-monitor-pricing

But this resulted in the “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” screen.

As an aside, I found it somewhat disturbing once I updated that I was prompted to complete activation, leading to a prompt to grant freemius diagnostic information. Especially when there was no information provided on the page about the privacy implications, there could be legal consequences to this

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

That sounds like a bug. Were you logged in as an Administrator when that happened? Is it a regular site or a Multisite network?

There should be a “What permissions are being granted?” link on the opt-in screen that lists the information that can be sent to Freemius. There’s also a “Privacy Policy” link, though I must admit that it’s pretty small and easy to miss.

Here’s more information about what is being tracked:

    Here’s the Freemius privacy policy:

Correct I was an admin and super admin, on the root site of a multisite

I think I see what the problem might be: the plugin is trying to display the pricing link while the Freemius opt-in is still pending. That is, the user hasn’t opted in on the current site but they haven’t clicked the “skip” button yet either.

Please try the development version. It will just remove the entire “Pro” section in that situation.
