Upgrade isues

  • Today I upgraded my site, https://www.jillsjoyfulnoise.com and although I can still see my entries when I go to the site, I cannot access the entries on the admin side. If I try to edit a post or page, I am not able to see any of the text that displays on the user’s side. The boxes where the written part of the entries should show, is totally blank. I also can’t write new entries, as the box won’t allow me to type in it. I would greatly appreciate any help.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
