Upgrade from 4.0.1 – 4.1 – Connectivity Issues

    We run a secured environment where port 80 and port 443 are blocked outbound. When I was running 4.0.1 I did not have an issue but when I upgraded to 4.1, issue occurred.

    While not logged into WordPress the site performs fine. When I login as a user to WordPress the console takes anywhere between 18-30 seconds per click to load a page. I had our firewall open port 80 temporarily to see if that resolved the problem and it did.

    Do you have any suggestions besides having port 80 open for outbound traffic?

    Fixes the problem. Do this on host machine.
