upgrade from 3.04 to 3.1

    I have manualy upgraded a good working wp 3.04 multisite to 3.1 because the automatic upgrade didn’t work again, nor does the plugins update work.
    No prob., but now the multisite menus have completely changed, and the “wp domain mapping” plugin does not appear anymore after activating.

    I wonder if this is normal, or if I have to re-configure the multisite completely by removing the allow multisite and re-activate it after? and/or re-add the usual scripts to the wp-config and htacess, or re-install the updated plugins.

    Please advise.
