    Our DB Version 3.2.6. Is it safe to upgrade to newest Woocommerce? Our theme is The7 and is compatible.

    The version of WooCommerce that you are running is fairly outdate (over a year old).

    Ideally, we recommend keeping everything up to date, however since you are so far behind I would recommend the following update routine.

    First, make a full backup of your site and database. There has been a significant amount of change between 3.6.2 and now. As such I cannot say if all of the third-party code (plugins and theme) on your site will be compatible, so having a backup is key.

    Ideally, you’ll want to do all of the following on a staging site first to test. If you don’t already have a staging site you can speak with your host (as many hosts offer staging sites) or look at using a third-party plugin like WP Staging.

    To update please follow this order:
    – Update your theme
    – Update all plugins, except for WooCommerce
    – Update WooCommerce
    – Update WordPress
