Upgrade Error

    I am trying to upgrade from 2.1 to 2.7.1. My database is converted and I can get into wp-admin by direct url, but my website no longer appears. I now get:

    Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘./wp-blog-header.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php’) in /homepages/27/d168057645/htdocs/index.php on line 17

    Any suggestions?

  • First thing I normally do is rename the plugins folder to see if that fixes it.

    If your backend is still functional, see is switching themes to Classic corrects the problem.

    Also, is the wp-blog-header file in the root folder?

    I renamed the plugins folder
    I see that I lost my theme and am in Classic
    wp-blog-header is in root directory.

    What should I try next?
