Upgrade directory beneat wp-content

    Sorry if this has been asked before. automatic+upgrade+directory returned a lot of hits, but none I could find related to my question.

    After an automatic plugin upgrade (for twitter tools) failed earlier, I logged in manually via FTP and noticed a directory beneath wp-content called upgrade. It contains a dir called wordpress-2.8.3 presumably relating to my automatic WordPress upgrade of two days ago.

    I’m just wondering if it’s safe to delete that ‘upgrade’ directory and everything below it.
