upgrade database failing (v2.4 -> 4.0)

    Hi

    Keep getting errors when attempting to upgrade the database.

    Current database version is 2.4.

    When upgrade attempted it quickly errors with the following –
    Failed to perform query “ALTER TABLE wp_vtm_gsdfg_redirection_items ADD match_url VARCHAR(2000) NULL DEFAULT NULL AFTER url”

    Any help appreciated

    I can’t imagine why Redirection would randomly redirect you to a post. What do your redirects look like?

    Following this up to note that I discovered a problem with redirects that contained a double-slash (i.e. //url). This was causing issues, and could (depending on what the full URL contained) cause an unexpected redirect.

    This has been fixed in the 4.1 beta, available here:
