Upgrade CMS

  • Hello,

    I am using WordPress 4.9.18.
    The webhosting will update PHP from version 7.4 to 8.0 next month.
    Will the WordPress 4.9.18 work with PHP 8.0 ?

    They wrote:”…if WordPress 4.9.18 do not work with PHP 8.0, I will update CMS to the latest verion…”.

    How can I upgrade the CMS ?

  • The CMS is WordPress, to update you need to login as an admin user and look for the update options clicking the icon pointed in this screenshot.

    There you will have options to update WordPress and the plugins.

    Please note that is convenient to have WordPress updated to the latest version for performance and security.
