    Hi,
I updated from 5.0.4 to 5.0.5 and it broke my admin area! Lost the sidebar, couldn’t open screen option, couldn’t no almost anything.

Hi, thanks for the reply. These screenshots should explain:

    Wordpress version 5.0.3
Latest Divi Theme, everything is updated.

    YouTube Embed Version 5.0.5

    With plugin deactivated:

The site is in maintenance mode so you can’t access it. Let me know when you’d like me to turn that off and take a look. I’m still setting the site up but I need to turn it on soon, like tomorrow. It’s 1:15am so I’m going to bed. I’ll keep my phone close by.

    Thank you,
    Brent

    Hi Brent,

Let me do some digging to find out what’s happening. In the meantime, please roll back to version 5.0.4 of the plugin.

    Hey Brent,

Okay, so I’m not able to reproduce this at all.

Any further information that you’re able to give me will be helpful. What happens, for example, if you disable all plugins but leave just YouTube Embed active? Does that work?

The only thing, editor wise, that this version changes is removing the old editor button.

Are you using Gutenberg? If not, are you using the Classic Editor plugin to suppress it?

Hold that thought – I think I’ve found it. Bear with…

Logged and I’m working on it now – https://github.com/dartiss/youtube-embed/issues/47.

Please look out for a v5.0.6 release to fix this (due as soon as I can muster)

Touch down. 5.0.6 is out and, fingers crossed, this should fix it! Apologies for the inconvenience that this has caused.
