Upgrade Breaks Site Layout

    Hi, I just inherited a very outdated version of Colormag. Its the free version:
    You have version 1.2.3 installed. Update to 2.0.4.

    When I update it breaks the site layout, it changes things and I could not figure out how to fix it. What is the best way to move forward?

    We appreciate you writing in,

    This may be occurring because of the long gap in updates between your old version and the new one as there are many updated features in the new version as compared to the old one. Could you once try deactivating all the plugins and then updating the theme? If this doesn’t work then you will have to manually configure your site. By manually configure we mean you will have to change the theme’s options by going to Appearance > Customize as per your need.
