    @aksel777 thank you for the review and suggestion. What is your use case for such a plugin/feature? Why do you need the images hosted on an external site?

    Hello.
    This is an opportunity to save a lot of space on the server and significantly reduce the load on the server. Savings on hosting, and not small. I am currently using the above-mentioned plugin and Google Photos + Advanced Media Offloader and Cloudflare R2. This saves me several hundred a year on hosting. It would be great to include these functions in your wonderful plugin. I think many users need this.

    https://github.com/zzxiang/external-media-without-import is 6-7 years old, is it still working fine today without any issue?

    Yes, the plugin works. I use it. I’m not a very good specialist, maybe something is outdated, but as far as I can see, everything works. As a specialist in this, you understand it better than me.
