UpdraftPlus – saving to wrong Google Drive account

Have previously set up UpdraftPlus backing up successfully on another site backing up to Google Drive. However, now I’ve come to extend use on this site I have the following problem.It seems to be backing up to the wrong Google Drive. UpdraftPlus is reporting: Success: you have authenticated your Google Drive account. Name: Bruce Bird. Your Google Drive quota usage: 8.3 % used, 14083.6 Mb available

I have checked that the link to the Google Developers Consolde does arrive at the correct Google Account so have no idea where another one may have arisen.The result is that it consistently reports:
Google Drive: Account is not authorized.

I have clicked the authorisation link several times but to no effect.
My earlier use allowed the backup to be allocated to a specific folder on Google Drive and I see this is now available only with the Premium version. However, the free version now defaults to a Drive folder name of UpdraftPlus. Does this need to be created or will UpdraftPlus create it?
If it has to be created beforehand it would be useful to add this to the instructions.Looks like a very useful plugin. I’d just like to get it working!
