    Hi,

    I have a question about UpdraftPlus Restore. My website has malware. I chatted with my host’s support, and they said that my index file is infected.

    Regarding restoring my website from the UpdraftPlus backup file, should I only click on ‘database,’ not everything (Plugins, Themes, Uploads, Other)? Sorry, I am new to this.

  • If you’re confident the backup was taken before the malware infection, it’s safe to restore everything. If uncertain, start with restoring only the database first, and check if everything is normal before proceeding to restore other parts if necessary
