UpdraftPlus Restoration failing

    Hi,

    I have a website for which I’m trying to make a backup restoration. The backup is placed in my Google Drive. When I try to make the restoration all folders start to download. The files are partitioned each 50MB.
    The problem comes when the first file of each section gets downloaded. The following parts for each section don’t donwload anything. The loading bars get blocked at 0%. I’ve checked in Google drive and the files are there.

    Hi David,

    Can you try to upload each component one by one? Do you still get the same issue?
    If yes, then you could upload the files directly to the backup folder located in the “wp-content/updraft”.

    I could skip this issue by uploading the files to the server. However, now the issue is different:

    even when I specified that the files should have 50MB at maximum, the others folder was created with 386MB. What’s inside the others section and why Updraft gave it that size?

    Hi David,

    Others component contains files that are generated by plugins in most cases. I believe there exists a large file within the folder. Can you investigate?

    Hi Bryle,

    you’re right, there was a backup from another plugin and Updraft splits only by groups of files but not a single file itself
