UpdraftPlus not working

What is your WordPress version?

If you click on the ‘expert settings’ link towards the bottom, then click on ‘Debug Backup’ down the bottom after that, does anything happen?

WP version 3.5.1

After clicking Backup All the screen went blank for just a few seconds, then came back to the settings screen. It now shows “1 available” file.

I have the log file that was emailed to me. How do I get it to you?

If that action created a log file, but the manual backup did not, then your WordPress install’s scheduler is broken, and it’s not something that I can fix from inside UpdraftPlus. Try disabling all your other plugins and then see if you can then back up. If you can, you need to use elimination to work out which plugin is the culprit.

I think you have confirmed my suspicion that the scheduler is broken. Is that something you can fix for me if I give you access to the blog?

If not, where can I get advice/help to fix it?

Just commenting that it is valuable information that UpdraftPlus is using WordPress’s own scheduler. WordPress scheduler doesn’t work if site is password protected with htaccess (at least on server I’m using). I was looking answer why my backup didn’t work on my development site and this is probably the reason. Maybe you should add it to your FAQ – because this plugin is probably many times installed while building new site behind password…
