Good day, I trust you are well.

I tried backing up my site, a few times, but nothing happened. This morning I re-did the Google Drive authentication and it managed to back-up some of the info, but not all of it.

The Back up status says: Not finished.

I initially had it on e-mail, but changed it to Google Drive. The log says

7072.959 (13) No email will/can be sent – the user has not configured an email address. 7072.960 (13) The backup attempt has finished, apparently unsuccessfully

But my e-mail address appears on the Updraft e-mail option and when I switched to Google Drive, it did authenticate.

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you and regards,

    Ruth

Can you use a tools such as pastebin.com to post the full backup log from the backup/restore tab?

I think this is the plugin having an authehtication issue thatq needs to be attended. I am having the same problem. At first I was using DropBox (which I normally don’t use) so I thought that was the problem but when switching to Google Drive as remote storage I get the same curl error message. Google Drive: Have not yet obtained an access token from Google – you need to authorise or re-authorise your connection to Google Drive. (cURL error 7: ) (http_request_failed)

In the Advanced tools tab, can you wipe your settings and then setup your Google Drive again?

I have same issue, suddenly got the error code:

Google Drive: Have not yet obtained an access token from Google – you need to authorise or re-authorise your connection to Google Drive.”

Tried the wipe all function but still same, I have provided access and when pressing “To de-authorize UpdraftPlus (all sites) from accessing your Google Drive, follow this link to your Google account settings.” I get to google access page showing access provided.

Appreciate any help as I reallly want to upload to google drive.

    Thanks

Do you get an error along the lines of

    “Client missing a project id”

If not, can you take screenshots of the errors you are seeing?

apologies, I don’t see the snip?

I already wiped the settings multiple times and this is the first message I receive after I complete setup successfully with Google Drive.

That is exactly same with me,

Is this resolved? what is the solution? I still have same issue. But I just found out that I only have the issue on sites running on VPS and Plesk, dont know if that can have anything to do with it, but works on another site I have, running on shared hosting, same version, same settings
