UpdraftPlus failing to upload any files to remote storage

UpdraftPlus is failing to upload backup files to remote storage for pinerysouth.com. I have tried both Dropbox and Google Drive.
The local backup files are created, but then when UpdraftPlus attempts to upload the files to remote storage, it gets stuck. The message displaying in the backup progress bar: Waiting until scheduled time to retry because of errors. It retries several times to upload the files, then quits and displays an “unsuccessful” message.
