UpdraftPlus “disappeared”

    Hi community,

    after updating UpdraftPlus to version 1.12.25, I missed the UpdraftPlus settings.

    On the Plugins page I saw a notice like “Plugin UpdraftPlus disabled, updraft.php missing”.

    When I tried to re-install the plugin, I get the error message “Destination folder already exists”.

    Has anybody an advice how to continue, e.g. how to restore to the previous UpdraftPlus version ?

    I had to delete the “updraft” folder manually per FTP access;
    then I had the chance to re-install UpdraftPlus.

    The old settings and the backups were still available…

    I have my plugins updating automatically. And just noticed that on a few of my blogs, Updraft Plus went missing in August. Re-installing found the old settings.

    I need to pay more attention.
