UpdraftPlus cannot connect with Dropbox

    In a new/fresh installation of UpdraftPlus I’ve tried to connect with a Dropbox account and Dropbox raises an error which says the Client_id is invalid.
    Maybe Dropbox has blocked UpdraftPlus API keys or maybe the API keys has reached the maximum number of connectons.
    I have got a screenshot of Dropbox error.

    Hi,

    Are you already logged in to your Dropbox account?
    Also, try using a different browser or incognito mode as browser extensions and security software can also interfere.

    Thanks for your quick response. I’ve tried the connection with a “clean” browser (without plugins) and using incognito mode.
    I see the same message when I try to connect to the Dropbox account. I’ll transcribe (and translate) here:

    Can you confirm that you have the latest version of UpdraftPlus 1.22.1?

    Sorry, I cannot confirm that. I only can see I have Version: 2.14.4.0 and it doesn’t match with your version.

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply.

    We recently released a force update to UpdraftPlus plugins. You should have 2.22.4 as the plugin version.
