    Hi folks,

So, today I saw an alert that my google drive space was almost maxed out. Naturally, I then went through all my files to see what I could delete, but it turns out that almost the entire 12GB (with the exception of a ~6MB document) was taken up by my UpdraftPlus backups just from the last two days. This is AFTER I manually deleted some UpdraftPlus backup files from previous dates, some dating back all the way to December of 2019.

This seems like way too much, right? Anyone have ideas as to why my backups would suddenly take up so much more storage space than usual? Is it possible that some of the files have duplicate data in them, and if so is there a way to find out which ones I can safely delete? Right now there are about 9 files per backup.

    Hi,

    Apologies for the delay.

To find out the cause of the issue, please could you send us a copy of the latest full backup log? This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
Please use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Thanks,
    Bryle
