When trying to make a backup copy of the site I get a hang on the packaging stage. Tested on several sites and several GoogleDrive – everywhere the same. I attach the log.

    Hi,

Apologies for the delay over the weekend and thanks for sending the log.

It shows that the backup process is timed out or killed off by your server. The server may already have reached the resource limit. Please ask your hosts/server admin to increase the limit (I/O limit, maximum_execution_timeout and site memory) or ask them to investigate their PHP error logs. These logs should contain more information on the exact issue that is causing the backup process to halt.

    Best Wishes,
    Bryle

Thank you for your prompt response. But the problem is something else is wrong. The point is, I’m not making a backup to a server but to GoogleDrive. I have a separate 15 gb GoogleDrive for each site. And strangely enough, the database backups are created and the site backup slows down at the stage of packaging plug-ins and does not go further. The settings set the minimum package size at 50 mb (I tried 100 mb too).

    Hi,

UpdraftPlus needs to create the backups first on your server before it sends it to your remote storage. If the backup could not complete, the backups will not be sent to your remote storage and the backups stay on your local server.

Also, please check this FAQ: https://updraftplus.com/faqs/how-much-resources-does-updraftplus-need/. I hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Bryle

Okay. Thank you. I’ll try to set it up again. It’s very strange because I’ve been using your plugin for a long time and it’s never happened before. Thank you for your support.
