UpdraftPlus Backs Up My 160 Posts Very Well.

I haven’t had a disaster where I needed to restore my blog yet but UpdraftPlus has at least made several successful backups in the last couple of years. Previous software I tried couldn’t cope with the amount of data to be saved as far as I could tell and would give up halfway through. I gave a cheer when UpdraftPlus completed a backup and saved it on my DropBox.
I can get two complete backups saved on DropBox at any one time for no extra cost. I share my wife’s DropBox account for moving photos between our various devices. That lets me use my personal DropBox for backups.
When I want to make a new backup I do it manually. First I delete my oldest backup to make space. Then I make a new backup so that I have two again.
I realise I need to study the restoration process so I can cope with a disaster. I have been heard to say many times that all this advise given to people advising them to “Backup” is all well and good but the challenge is to restore successfully.
Anyway it’s 5 stars (*****) for UpdraftPlus from me.
