    Hello.

I Reinstalled WordPress. I have installed BeTheme. We have our own server and can convert PHP. With PHP 7.4 there are no errors with UpdraftPlus. From PHP 8.0.30 and above there is an error updraft_send_command: error: error (). I can create backups but cannot restore them. Can You help me?

It looks like something is blocking the connection. Are you restoring form remote storage?

If you have any security plugins, it worth trying to deactivate them whilst you restore.

Otherwise contact your hosting and ask them to check if they are blocking the connection (it’s pretty much always this for this particular issue)

Alternatively, you can download the backup and then upload it to the backup/restore tab.

Thank you for your reply. We are hosters ourselves and have installed a brand new WordPress. As soon as we switch the fresh WordPress from PHP 7.4 to PHP 8 with the BeTheme and UpdraftPlus, this error occurs. So it can’t have anything to do with remote storage. Your alternative works. That’s not the problem either. It would be great if it worked directly in the backend of WordPress.
    Many thanks for your help
