Updraft Restore Error: Download failed Version 1.16.16

Hi,

Can you try to click on the “rescan remote/local storage” link to refresh the backup list?
Do you still see the backup you are trying to download from the list? If yes, do you still get the same issue when downloading the backup?

What is the exact error you are getting?

Alternatively, you can download the backup directly from your storage. If it is stored on you local server you can find it in the “wp-content/updraft” folder.

Hi,

Something could be blocking the connection between UpdraftPlus and your storage.
Can you try to use a different browser and see if you get the same issue? Or temporarily deactivate the other plugins.

I tried another browser, chome and microsofts windows 10, It makes the backups so must have a connection. thanks

Browser extensions can also cause conflict to plugins so you could try to temporarily deactivate to find out if that is what causing the issue.
