Updraft Plus Keeps Trying to Back Up Deleted Files

Hi Jake,

Please could you send us a copy of the latest full backup log?
This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
Don’t post the contents directly here. Use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

The last scheduled back up seems to have gone through alright last though (first in days), so maybe it’s fixed itself?

Could it take a few days for Updraft to stop seeing old files?

Hi Jake,

Apologies for the delay over the weekend.

“0051.650 (0) [Warning] A very large file was encountered: uploads/2020/09/Firestarter-Pro-Beat-Pack-TEST.zip (size: 576 Mb)”

There seems to be a very large file within the uploads folder. You can either delete it if not necessary or exclude it from the backup list. Here’s how to exclude – https://updraftplus.com/faqs/how-can-i-exclude-particular-filesdirectories-from-the-backup/

I deleted this file some time ago. Do you have any idea why it’s still coming up?
