Updraft Plus has disappeared

    Went through the instructions to remove it here but still get installation failed error.
    I’m on WP 4.9.15 which it says is compatible and it did work fine until recently. My host recently upgraded to php 7.4 which is causing other errors. Would that affect updraft? Big fan of this plug in so I want to get it back!

    Hi,

    The best solution is to manually remove ‘updraftplus’ folder via FTP from the ‘wp-content/plugins/’ directory.

    Then manually upload the plugin via FTP. Unzip and upload to ‘wp-content/plugins’ so it becomes ‘wp-content/plugins/updraftplus’.

    After uploading the files, you can then activate the plugin from your WordPress dashboard.

    I thought so, and I tried that but it still doesn’t show up in plug ins so can’t be activated.

    Hi,

    That is a bit weird!

    Can you try asking your host/server admin if they see any errors in the PHP error log? Something maybe blocking UpdraftPlus to get installed.
