I’ve just run my usual weekly backups on a few sites using Updraft Plus. On just one site there is no button showing up to download the backup files.

Has anyone experienced this and knows how to fix?

On a site that is working there are two options Download to your computer, and Delete from your web server.

On the site that is now working neither button appears and there are no options.

The actual back up itself seemed to work, I just can’t download the files.

    Hi,

It is possible that the backup is no longer available. Can you check if the files still exists (local or remote storage)?

If yes, please click on the “Rescan remote/local storage” link to refresh backup list.

Alternatively, you can download your backups directly from your storage.

    Thanks,
    Bryle

Thanks for your reply. I created the backup about a minute before I tried to download it so I’m not sure why it wouldn’t exist? (Plus I can see it there in the list) Is there any reason it wouldn’t be working on this site and is working on all the others I look after?

I don’t have access to the files for this particular client’s website outside of WordPress. Might need to look at an alternative plugin to UpDraft to solve the issue perhaps.

I’m still trying to resolve this issue. Is there any way to upload a screen shot here so I can show what the issue is?

The backup seems to run, but when I click on each section to download it, there is no download button.

I’ve just tried wiping the settings, uninstalling/reinstalling and that hasn’t helped.

Same here. All of a sudden, I can no longer download backups. I’ve rescanned local and remote. I tried a fresh backup. I tried deleting a few older backups. I’ve broken the download sizes into segments (even though this has never been needed before with this site). There are only 3 there now with only around 130mb total web-server disc space being used and none of them will download any longer. The window comes up for each (database, themes, plugins, etc) but then just sits there blank for every single one. So, I can backup but I can no longer download anything. This is on a Godaddy shared hosting server and NOT on Managed WordPress Hosting where Godaddy blacklisted Updraft recently.

I see others have had this issue and yet no real answers from Updraft anywhere? And if you’re using the free version – you get zero support so I would at least hope that Updraft would have the courtesy to provide answers in forums. Between the Godaddy ordeal and now this – I’m just about ready to no longer use Updraft in any of my clients websites.

This has been here for 5 months and still no help from Updraft?
