When I back up using updraftplus, I get a warning and the backup doesn’t finish.

Warning: A very large file was encountered: managewp/backups/teresalakier.com-wordpress_manual_full_2015-03-11_0772b190eeab8cf0f205b654ff3e825f.zip (size: 374.8 Mb)

I am using dropbox, and cleared space in it for updraftplus.

Please advise me as to what to do about the warning/ not finishing the backup.

    Regards.

The warning is telling you that there is an enormous file in your website. That file looks like a backup created by ManageWP. If the backup doesn’t finish, that suggests there aren’t enough resources available to include that enormous file. The best thing to do would be to delete that file, as its filename indicates it is a backup created in March 2015, so unlikely to be useful now.

    Thank you.
So, where is it on my WordPress account and how do I delete it?
    Regards.

    Hi,

From the error message, the file should be located in the ‘wp-content/managewp/backups/’ folder of the site, and can be deleted via FTP or your hosting filemanager.

    Hi,

I would like to change the location for backing up with updraft plus from one Dropbox account to another.
I tried the remove link but doesn’t seem to work.

It takes me to the screen saying complete setup, but no redirect to Dropbox login.

    Please advise,
    Regards.

That’s how Dropbox’s authentication flow (that part is coming from them, not us) works. It is a bit confusing. You need to make sure you are logged into dropbox.com in your browser in the account you wish to use before starting the authentication procedure. So, if you’re not, then go to https://www.dropbox.com and log out, and log in again.
