  • Hi Piccy,

I found this thread by following your profile – you’ve posted in the “Plugins and Hacks” forum; it’s best to post things in a plugin’s particular forum – then the plugin author gets to see it (and so do other users of that plugin).

the backup files start with https://

Have you any idea how the backup would be marked as coming from an https:// site, if you don’t have https:// ? It sounds odd – some more info might help, to work out how it happened.

    Hi ,
not very good with forums so apologies , thinking about it a bit more they are backed up onto google drive (using information i entered into updraft itself so maybe this is the cause

this is the error i get

    Warnings:
Warning: This backup set is from a different site – this is not a restoration, but a migration. You need the Migrator add-on in order to make this work.

If you’re sure you’re on the same site, then you can just proceed past the warning. Is your WP dashboard accessible over https:// ? If you visit it through https:// instead, then you may not see the warning then, depending on how your site is set up.
