I have a number of development sites with very little traffic. Up to a few weeks ago the scheduled backups and manual backs worked fine across 10 sites. The online storage for all is set to Google drive with over 10GB of storage left.
Question. Do I need to run Cron Jobs to create some activity on these sites as perhaps due to no traffic Updraft doesn’t complete a back up.
I have tried reducing the Split archives to every 100mb, however very few of my sites are that large. Any tips, anything changed in the last week with the latest version that would affect this ?
All my sites are on 1.16.11
I can see google drive activity so I can see files are being written to it.
    Help appreciated

To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy of the backup log?
You can find this log in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of your site via FTP.
You can send the log file as an attachment or copy the contents into an online tool (such as https://pastebin.com/ )

On one of my other sites I did change it from GoogleDrive to OneDrive and it worked ok, so my be an issue with Google API. My Google drive has loads of space and I can see some files were uploaded yesterday. However when reverting that back to GoogleDrive and resetting the settings, it still didn’t work with Google..

Can you please try to wipe settings from UpdraftPlus > Advanced tools > Wipe settings.

Then try to re-authenticate Google Drive from UpdraftPlus > Settings.

Re-run the backup process and check if the backups are now sent to Google Drive?

    Thanks,

still getting errors after wiping settings and trying again…

    @andy1966uk

Can you please check if you space available at Google Drive?

    The log shows:
    5562.750 (6) Google Drive: quota usage: used=4102.6 MB, total=15360 MB, available=11257.4 MB

3.8GB used out of 15GB, so plenty of room…

Plugin Author David Anderson / Team Updraft

Google Drive: Upload error: Operation timed out after 60000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (line: 117, file: /home/jupiterw/demo2.jupiterwebdesign.co/wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/includes/Google/IO/Curl.php)

This means that there are network connectivity problems in between your webserver and Google Drive and that attempts to contact Google Drive time out; you should show these messages to your server administrator so that he can investigate the cause.
