Updating WordPress while Maintenance Mode is active

    Possibly a dumb question… but does anyone know if there are any issues updating WordPress while a site is in Maintenance Mode ?

    As WP activates it’s own maintenance mode during the upgrade process, I thought there might be some sort of issue or conflict.

    Appreciate any advice on this.

  • I’ve never had any problems myself. It goes well each time and I’ve built many, many WP sites **touches wood**
