Updating WordPress When you SelfHost

    If we host off wordpress and we update our wordpress through a cpanel/Fantastico.. Then what do we do for this:
    Database Upgrade Required

    WordPress has been updated! Before we send you on your way, we have to upgrade your database to the newest version.

    The upgrade process may take a little while, so please be patient.

    Is it safe to update it? I am worried since its not through our Cpanel.
    Little Lost! ??

    Yes, it is very safe to update it. Once you have installed WordPress through Fantastico you will no longer be using Fantastico to upgrade WordPress since WordPress has its own built-in upgrade procedure.
