• Hello, I would like a lot of advice. All month long, Wordfence has been sending me a web error report saying I need to update plugins and WordPress to a new version. The mystery is that I have UpdraftPlus set to automatically backup and update everything. Everything worked without errors until February. So I updated WordPress manually to the new version, but I still get the automatic update failed banner at the top, even though it says below that wordpress is updated to the latest version. I can’t even update the plugins, if I manually update them one by one, the website goes into maintenance mode and then reports that the update failed, and this happens with all plugins and the template as well. Everything fails. Installation of new plugins does not work. I have no problem with this at all on another wordpress site and I have it set up the same way. Could you give me an advice please?

  • The page at your given link has the latest WordPress version. So that worked.

To investigate why the plugin updates do not work: can you disable them? Just try all and then the updates – but individually. Maybe one of the active plugins has interfered here.

If that doesn’t work either, you should check the error log of your hosting. The support of your hoster can help you.

Hello, thank you very much for the advice. I will try to deactivate the plugins and update them gradually.
