Updating WordPress

  • I pressed updating (wordpress as well as several plugins) and then got the following screen-text:

    “Wegen geplanter Wartungsarbeiten kurzzeitig nicht verfügbar. Schau gleich noch einmal vorbei.”

    Translation: Due to planned maintenance work not available right now. Please try again later.

    Ok, obviously I didn’t have enough patience -it is working again. Sorry for panicking…

    Yeah, WordPress puts the site into maintenance mode when it is updating plugins, themes and WordPress itself so that nothing can stop it or corrupt your WordPress installation.
