Updating Twenty thirteen, etc.

I use a custom theme for my website (Linen from Theme Foundry) which is properly updated. Is there any need for me to update the WordPress themes Twenty Thirteen, Twenty Twelve, Twenty Eleven and Twenty Ten? My dashboard is notifying me these need updating.

If they don’t need updates, is there a way to toggle off the update notification?
